Union workers have been on a steady decline for the past twenty years. Businesses do in fact treat their workers fairly and that's why almost all new union workers do not work for businesses.

The only reason unions still exist is because of government.

BUSH -whacked again........House Votes to Reverse Bush Ruling on Arsenic Levels (Update1)
By Laura Litvan and Alex Canizares

Washington, July 27 (Bloomberg) -- The U.S. House of Representatives voted 218-189 to rebuff the President George W. Bush's move to revise standards for arsenic in drinking water. Nineteen Republicans voted against the Bush position; six Democrats voted it for it.

The vote is another blow to Bush, who's seen his policies the environment, trade and health rebuffed by Democrats and moderate Republicans in the House in recent weeks. Earlier this week, House Republican leaders put off a vote on a patients-rights bill after concluding they didn't have the votes to pass Bush's version.
