<Any idea on how we close today? >

Drunk.

I'd say about right here. This has got to be mutual finds pulling their end of month bs. A lot of stocks are up on my screen. But INTC, MSFT, DELL, CSCO, ORCL are down. Which looks suspicious. Like the Funds are satisfied with these price levels for end of month, but need the 'other' stocks up some?

RE: "Any idea on how we close today?"

My guess is AMAT $46.26 and the SOX 601.67. <g> Obviously I checked the thread too late to respond, but Monday should be interesting. We didn't solidly move in any clear direction on Friday and I continue to believe we remain at an important pivot point. I was worried Friday as we pushed a hair past some resistance levels on a few of the indices, but the close kept us from confirming a break to the upside.

I continue to remain on the dark side for the short-term, but searching for the light in the long-term.
