Tubal pregnancies 99.99% of the time result in unviable fetuses and often medical emergencies because the developing placenta is not attached to the endometrial wall. There is usually pelvic pain, bleeding and serious side effects of a tubal pregnancy. The surgery results usually in the woman losing that tube.
