The oil money has been in the hands of the Bushes and others for years. Old Man Bush made the money though. Jr.'s business failed. While Congress screamed over Whitewater, the money involved in Whitewater was a drop in the bucket compared to the money "W" got away with when his Texas oil company failed. At several points in time, Republicans made contributions to keep the venture afloat but investors lost money. Now, I wonder why Congress never formed a committee to look into "W" awl bidness in Texas. Could it be because he was a former President's son?
