DrBob: Sentiment Indicators

Every weekend Barrons edition has 4 major sentiment indicators listed: Investors Intelligence, American Association of Individual Investors, Consensus, and Market Vane. Each tends to poll a slightly different group of market participants and thus from time to time leads to slightly different results. I believe the bullishness numbers(in percentage)last week were 52, 30, 50, and 40 respectively. Recently heard that the AAII poll dipped down to around 30% bullishness again after the recent selloff. I would be interested to hear what you have to say in depth about these surveys. Once fund manager was saying when the combined total is under 120, buy aggressively; over 240, sell aggressively.
