Bob, I'm still waiting for the answer to my follow-up question wherein you referred to a "private letter" from the IRS being in the ICTA package. Is it or is it not a private letter ruling addressed to a specific inquiring coin dealer in the Portland OR area which enumerates not only the coins that are considered bullion/commodity coinage under the CFTC commodity exchange definitions or not? And furthermore, does it deal with the specific amount of reportable quantities on a 24hr, 3 day or longer period? If so, what is its private letter ruling date so that I may compare it to the one I have read out here? Thank you. gold_tutor ( the not so dead horse...naw, let's make that miner's mule...<vbg>).
