You don't seem to understand. This is a Christian Nation. The Constitution is based on Christian values, the Framers of the Constitution were Christians and were, in fact, writing from the Word of God. You sure don't think they were influenced by The Koran do you? "In God We Trust"

Del They invite a different member of the local clergy to give an invocation (sometimes it sounds like what you and I might call a prayer and sometimes it's more of a positive statement) at the beginning of the bi-monthly City Council meetings here in Huntington Beach. In this sense it's doubtful to seem "in your face" even to atheists or agnostics. Probably even gives people a good feeling about the diversity in their community. People need to sense a fairness in the process.
