Hey, I've only been trading for 3 years. So this is bad, huh?

I've decided that to make money, I have to trade with Teutonic discipline. No buying something 'just to see what happens', or going off line after entering something without a stop. No more hoping gold and silver will go up.

Looking at those long term charts from 93-99, I can see why you're nostalgic. So we probably crash. I think most people on the thread are aware this is a distinct possibility. Trading is still fun and profitable as long as positions are small. You old enough to remember Jesse Winchester?

If the wheel was fixed, I would still take a chance.

If we're skating on thin ice, then we might as well dance.

Do it. Do it till you're sick of it.

Do it till you can't do it no more.

If it isn't enjoyable for you, indeed stop doing it. Just my opinion.
