The company said fourth quarter zinc and lead production rose seven percent on the previous quarter, and 18 percent on the same quarter a year ago for total production of 525,902 tonnes. ..................................................................................................................... A Pasminco spokesman said the fourth quarter production increases showed that the group's mines were quality assets which should fetch good prices. .......................................................................................................................... Pasminco has said several companies had expressed interest in its mines, and confirmed that Canada's Noranda Inc NRD.TO, the one company which has said publicly it might be interested, was among those in line.
