Many people have serious doubts about the validity of IQ tests and standardized tests in general. For instance, a professor told me that the GRE or Graduate School Entrance Exam is not a particularly useful test. A high score on the test will not predict how well someone will do in graduate school but that is one opinion only. I had doubts about posting the information about IQs but many people believe that a high score on an IQ test is important. What I think is true about Bush is that he destroys. We might even call him, "The Terminator" although, in the past, we've called him, "The Toxic Texan." If "W's" father had not written a letter to him about the importance of relations with North Korea, and if former President Bill Clinton had not spoken to the Chinese after "W" initial rout with their leaders, the tensions created by "W" and his administration could have had very dire consequences Still, "W" negative attitude may undermine his credibility with the American people and with Congress. "W" wants to undo what everyone has worked hard to achieve. Yet, he does NOT offer any constructive policies for those that he condemns. Fortunately, the House had enough sense to uphold the restrictions about arsenic levels in drinking water that were set under former President Clinton but rejected by "W". Everywhere you look though, you discover that "W" policies point to destruction of past treaties, agreements, and especially the environment. If it had not been for the House, "W" would be drilling in the Gulf, The Great Lakes, around National Monuments and any other place where he could set up a rig. "W" rewards his friends and his friends are in Big Business. They care only about making money ---for themselves . If they have to destroy the environment to do it, they will. If they can undermine the wages and safety conditions for workers of the middle class in order to make more money, they'll do it. Big Business is ruthless. To get back to Bush's politics of destruction, this week Bush destroyed a protocol that called for limited international inspection of sites suspected of involvement in biological weapon. I wonder what he will destroy next week.
