Clinton gave us the strongest 8 years we've ever had. And as I've shown you the GOP had many more and much bigger campaign financing scandals including in Asia. Don't be naive. As for raising our taxes, we also had the lowest interest rates, inflation, unemployment, lower welfare rolls, highest surluses, stock market, paying off national debt instead of adding to it and best growth and optimism we've ever had. Not to mention lower energy prices. A couple of percentage poitns of tax are worth this kind of stability which we now see eroding severely under Bush.
