I was thinking that with the 1x rollouts Brew would be playing a major role in the money making dept.

Remember that it takes a LONG time for new markets to develop. And it always takes at least twice as long as we think it will take.

1X and BREW are the supply that creates the demand. Developers need to produce products that will interface with BREW. Then they need to market them. Of the many that are produced, many will fail. It's inevitable that significant dollars generated by BREW will lag long behind the availability of 1X because of the inherent business cycle transitioning from enabling products (1X and BREW) becoming available to the applications products being used.
