OFF TOPIC - Re. ISUZU JOE.

Having been in the car business since I was 19 -I have always cringed at the ignorant news media that always equate buying car - "to being less desirable than having a root canal preformed".

In reality, the truth is 180 degrees opposite. The automobile industry has long been acutely aware that customer satisfaction is the first and most important ingredient of creating brand loyalty. Our industry is very competitive in terms of creating additional value to enhance the purchasing experience.

The auto industry is perhaps the most surveyed and published about, regarding consumer perceptions. In general new vehicle purchasers are extremely satisfied when surveyed about there buying experience. We in the auto business ,literally do cartwheels to build repeat business and brand loyalty as well as dealer loyalty.

So it is with a hidden joy that is deeply suppressed when I saw Isuzu Joe so brazenly lie and misrepresent the impossible features of the Isuzu (remember when it was so fast he caught a bullet in his teeth?).

Its sort of like - Since I'm busting my butt to do the opposite and all you ever get from the media is no credit - maybe you might just as well go deserve the reputation.ggg

Of course that would be the beginning of the end of a good business. Any how I was very close to the industry and loved the blatant outrageousness.
