Mr. Mark,
What do you think of this move?
I know dodgers need a good pitcher right now, too many injuries...

Mark, ditto.. I knew there were other crazy people like me out there. Used to climb up on the hill behind our house and listen when the Giants were playing St. Louis (KMOX), Philly (WCR?) Pitt, and occ ATL . Lived in DC area-my grandfather, from whom I must have inherited my passion for baseball, took me to see the Senators and Frank Howard. Boy were they miserable. I stopped following them when they moved to Texas. But always kept my passion for the Giants.
I love them unconditionally but of course since I have been alive they have not ever one a World Series-Recently I have been perusing this website which is a nice way to relive those Giant and Dodger teams of past. Note it is painful to look back at the 60's as we were always second to Koufax, Drysdale et al
baseball-reference.com and another site that has all sorts of newspapers
