Am I foolish or what. I did not think that anyone who chose a sequence of letters to be their handle could spell it wrong. I thought such an idea was only jackflap. But then again I'm so foolish.

Did you or anyone else notice how the Democrats on the Banking committee grilled Greenspan about affordable housing?

Yet the Democrats press for less affordable housing by pressing for people to move into ever larger cities where land & homes sell at a premium? Yet Democrats (and many Republicans) support the special interests of the housing and mortgage industries by insisting on zoning laws which increase house prices?

If the Democrats really want lower house prices, they must adopt a far more Libertarian idea about housing. An idea where people need never buy more home than they need or can afford. Why is it near no where in these United States can a person build a 350-500 sq ft home with-in the laws. Many single people, older and younger and even married couples could get by better were they permitted to build such a small home and get it paid for!

Open space rules? Why? We don't need them! Simply allow people to build on smaller lots instead! Why can't people build & live in a modified 1 car garage on a 25'X50' lot if they wish? Because it provides many falsely protected jobs & income when the entire population of a nation must buy more than the need or want or rent!
