Another great victory for the Military Industrials: It is very perceptive of you to see the real breakthru of the success of this test. The problem of bullet to bullet kill is in the proof of having onboard terminal collision guidance. But that terminal collision guidance cannot be tested unless one gets to the kill area. The processing to get the kill area is totally different than the terminal collision guidance. In other ballistic systems getting to the kill zone is rather mundane technology but extremely expensive to create and integrate with onboard guidance. But their is no point of getting to the area unless you know that the just demonstrated terminal collision guidance is going to work. Proving the concept of terminal collision guidance proves the viability of the entire concept. tom watson tosiwmee
