Delayed fuel switching response to lower NG prices ?

True Truth posted this on the Yahoo SFY board (Message 9289) , and I think this is VERY significant for those of us
who are shorting NG E&Ps -

There may also be a rather violent change in
fuel switching at the end of August.
I am hearing that some of the folks that switched when gas was above $6 this winter, went ahead and locked themselves into
longer
term contracts for fuel oil through the summer
because they were afraid of the possibility of
summer prices gas prices getting too high,
so now though they may want to switch they couldn't until end of summer.

When switching starts it could be pretty
volatile.

PENG.. I also opened up a short position last week. Thanks for the information you have posted on this puppy. This rebound back up looks like a gift and it looks like a few people are taking advantage of it. I have started looking into point and figure charting recently and PENG broke a quadruple bottom. From what I have read this very negative. PENG is still below the bearish resistance line even after this rebound (another good thing).
