Do you follow the ECRI? Lakshman Achuthan, managing director of the Economic Cycle Research Institute, has a thread here:

he will answer any and all questions there.

They are predicting a recession but they predicted it to start with Q2. Currently, he thinks GDP might be revised lower for Q2 and that could save their call. IF you follow the WLI, Weekly Leading Index, it seems to be predicting a possible Q4 recovery. Here is some info on WLI:
