Kirkland Lake is a long way from Southern Ontario, max.

Nothing but bush and blackflies up there. Nasty little things (the flies, that is). You got many bugs in Maine?

Well, my 'strict trading discipline' paid off this week; four winners, two losers. Made a couple of grand, a few hundred at a time. I'm keeping detailed statistics on all my trades now. It's going to take a lot of sweat and concentration (I was frazzled on Friday after close), but the days of being lazy and still getting rich are apparently over.

Actually, I'm into it. After working full time for 25 odd years, I was ready for some easy days that my stock market wealth has provided. Now, after 18 months of goofing off (and losing too much money because of it), I'm ready to make a dollar a nickel at a time.

You should get a little online action. I find it a lot of fun most of the time. The brief time I had the Brown account I really liked it. Executions are fast, the interface is simple, and commissions are practically nothing. After being pretty dormant for a few months, I really feel it's possible to make money day trading until the market tanks or the economy improves.
