Hi BWAC,- OFF TOPIC

The majority of our buypower customers return surveys about our process that are very encouraging - I really don't think we've ever had anything short of completely satisfied.

If I didn't have knowledge of the industry and many friends - I would use it .In fact I wish I could use that kind of email service to buy many items.

Often times people are dreaming as they first shop for a new vehicle - so they make inquiries - but don't necessarily want to be followed up on - they are still shopping and in the product selection stage. So here is where e-mail is the best. It allows them to be informed and yet not badgered and at the buyer's conveience and time frame.

If they decide to purchase a product you offer - then is when your prompt straight forward approach is the plus that rewards you with the purchase cosideration.

Glad to hear GMBUYPOWER worked for you - many dealers think it is a failure.Too often they try the "if I could would you crap "and it just doesn't work here.

I think the approach is so straight up that when done properly, the consumer who has an intimidated preopinion about car shopping has also begun forming a loyalty opinion about the dealer.Back it up with good service and you should own him or her for future purchases.JMHO

In a very real way - the shyster dealer who implements the control track system - also called 4 square (that's where the guy said as he nodded his head up and down - it really doesn't matter what you pay for the car -what's really important is how much you pay a month - right - WRONG.In most cases when you hear that - don't walk -- RUN!!!

Generally speaking ,in nightmare situations, what REALLY MATTERS IS WHAT THEY DIDN'T DISCLOSE- mileage limitations, balloon paymants,and/or interest rates.

Those types of clowns - help good dealers develop repeat business, with intelligent buyers that know better.JMHO

Thanks for the feedback.

Bob
