Cranberry Juice May Prevent Urinary Tract Infections
If you suffer from repeated urinary tract infections, you might want to try drinking cranberry juice on a regular basis. In a study published in the June 30, 2001 issue of the British Medical Journal, researchers discovered that Finnish women who regularly developed urinary tract infections had a 20% decrease in the chance of recurrence if they drank a mixture of cranberry and lingonberry juices on a daily basis. Symptoms of a urinary tract infection can include increased frequency of urination, as well as pain or burning with urination. If you suffer from any urinary symptoms, be sure to see your doctor. Urinary tract infections can often be cured with antibiotics.
