Hi Bo:
You know it takes just 35 seconds to "copy" that list of stocks from your post, '" paste" it in a new Yahoo
portfolio, go to "detailed" and be looking at the one year charts for all of them.
I agree with looking at momentum stocks rather than falling knives. And any field will do.
Investors getting discouraged now. LTBH is not working with averages drifting down plus broker trading fees being extracted.
I am not totally discouraged, just disgusted that most of three months work has been in vain solely because
Ally went down and which caused me to sell some potentially good holdings.
Only a few months till the dreaded October. Have we ever had a good one?
What is your opinion.? Is anyone here inclined to hold thru October.? Are there any clues to say whether it will be good or bad? I'm not buying that Abby Cohen or WSW talk about a recovery in qtr3 or qtr 4 or year 2002.
Remember broker talk from last October? Buy Jdsu at $123, buy MWD , buy CCL?
These were sure to come back by November. Or else January. Suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuure they were.
IMO there are individual stocks doing well, but the sector bears can take em all down with the crowd so individual performance doesn't count as much as it used to do.
