Both in exit polling and general pre-election polling, the sampling of what the left wing media has declared "the black community" is highly inaccurate. It runs by neighborhood or area, and excludes virtually all of the emerging black middle class. When black sentiment trends toward the reasonable conservative ideas that cut across racial lines (Social Security privatization, education, crime, etc.), the networks, the Zogbys, etc, continue to show extremely heavy black liberal sentiment, and only varying by proportion to the whole sample. They simply can't find the black middle class-partly because they lack the motivation to do so (any mainstream pollster who tried to call the black community anything but almost-unanimously liberal would be ostracized in the media "respectability capitals" in the blue zone-and after all, who's going to take polls that no one is willing to buy?), and partly from the statistical difficulty of getting an accurate racial breakdown in suburban communities-where people simply aren't used to being asked their race by liberal pollsters.

It's another manifestation of the liberal racism that is so ingrained in them they fail to recognize it themselves.

The professional pollsters employed by the party organizations have their own methods of attempting to find reality, but they keep their trade secrets held close.

Re: "And by the way, I don't appreciate your view that racial and ethnic minority groups are stupid. I'm sure they don't either."

Nice try, Dave. I didn't figure you were on the same level as Lazarus Long or Cyberkenny, but I may have been wrong. It's not nice to play "gotcha" semantic games and put words in people's mouths.

You can lose perspective of truth if you start believing versions of the truth proffered by right-wing attack dogs such as Cyberkenny and Lazarus the Liar.

CK and Laz were making the point yesterday that not all people should be allowed to vote. I made the point that such an elitist attitude is why the Republican Party is having trouble making inroads with minorities.

Never said minorities are stupid. What I did say is that an elitist attitude of non-universal suffrage is one reason why non-whites get turned off by the Republican Party.

And, yes, you're right on the Magnificent Seven. They were six until Chico.
