Never repot them when they get too crowded take some out and tie it in a tree with tule....

Thanks, happy_girl! I will check for the soil at our local HD.

I have mostly pines and some hardwoods. What zone are you in? I would love to be able to grow them in the trees, they are so beautiful that way. I've learned not to listen to some folks when it comes to gardening. I planted the top of a pineapple plant my parents had shipped home while in Hawaii. It took off and is doing just great! I don't expect any fruit even though I have heard that sometimes you can get a small fruit. I'm just enjoying the nice greenery! <g>

I think I will let my orchid go a little longer in this pot and then do what Rich1 said and just separate it and start a new pot. Wish me luck!!
