This thread shows up as #11 under "Hot Subjects", apparently due to Rambi's one post yesterday. I feel very powerful. Of course we are a literary thread, and thus affect a total disinterest in anything so bourgeois as ratings. I am quite sure all the members of the literary sauna are occupied with erudite and profound activities today, hopefully culminating in the consumption of a chapter or two of the next book for discussion. Those "other" threads are probably thrilled with their appearance on this list where we merely glance at our inclusion and look away in disdain, having no interest in the sordid material trappings of popularity. (Do you think this post plus yours will get us to Spot #10??? I could cut the post in half... that would help...)
