I see housing developments spring up in the county built around a golf course. More rules than in the city. Yup- you are describing yuppieville. Mobile started a huge community around a course here . We bought in an older neighborhood to avoid the rules. Of course the price for that is that we have what appears to be a survivalist with pitbulls next door. (He does keep his yard much nicer than ours though.) We'd never make it in one of those homeowner association-controlled places. Our drive Saturday reminded us that we want to live far away from people. I don't know HOW we wound up here. Well, that's silly- of course I do--- you go where the jobs are. For some reason, there aren't a lot of corporate lawyer/executive jobs available on the Outer Banks.
