NAFTA put me out of business

Until your post, I had never personally encountered any of those negatively affected by free trade. I'm sorry to hear that you were caught in NAFTA's cross hairs.

I'm sure that there are people in Mexico that have the same complaint. But at a certain point we have to either trust the market or trust government, and I think I would rather trust the market. I have no doubt that in the long run, free trade and a free market will allow those providing products with superior value to flourish, and provide the greatest good for the greatest number. It will not necessarily be good for everybody at every point, but nothing else will be either.
