One of the better restaurants here is Korean... there are a number of Korean companies operating here, and some of the wives of the managers got together and started the place. None of them speak much English, so they had a terrible time trying to explain to the non-Korean patrons what the dishes were. Finally they resorted to putting pictures in the menu, which works quite well. They are really very nice people; the food is good and reasonably priced. A particularly nice feature is that any order is automatically accompanied by a half-dozen appetizers, mostly pickled vegetables of various flavors and textures. A pleasant tradition.

I try to get my son to eat there; unfortunately he and his friends have taken a liking to Japanese food, and the only Japanese restaurant in town is not cheap at all. 4 growing boys can stuff down a staggering amount of shrimp tempura and assorted sushi. I made that mistake once; never again.
