Growing up in the Sierra Nevadas, our family and another started a wildlife rescue organization. They have expanded greatly in the past 25 years. One time, we had an orphaned raccoon which we named Rocky. When raccoons are young they are very playful, so we had a lot of fun with him. We even taught the little guy how to clean his food.

If I remember right, at around 9-10 months, whatever is wild in them comes out.

I like the little critters.

Thank you for your comments, Nemer.

Don't worry, I don't have it in me to shoot them with anything.

Yes, it has been terribly dry here. I also feed corn to the deer. The raccoons will eat the corn if there is no cat food out.

I will try your suggestions.

Thanks again,

Norma
