Problem was the Dems would not agree to the cuts he wanted. tax revenues grew enormously.

The fact remains that the increased revenue more than allowed for increased defense spending, and congress spends the money not the president. And the Democratic congress always overspent.

And the deficit continued to rise until after the 1994 elections.

I'd suggest you learn about what really happened before you speak. You assertion that Reagan never did submit balanced a balanced budget is FALSE. Do you expect any to take you seriously when you misrepresent what occurred so openly. The truth vetoes your post. watman.com
