Dear GVTucker:

The number is required by the SEC and must be on any quarterly report. It is not the number reported by the media during discussions. In AMD's case both discuss the same number however, with Intel they are different. What do you think would have happened, if Intel was reported to have made only $0.03 instead of $0.12? Shock and a dumping of shares.
