None of liberal's ideas ever worked. And they insist on us continuing to fund each and every one of them. What a crock!

You forgot a few things. We also invented the AIDS, common cold, flu, and herpes viruses and set them loose. Oh, and the pneumonia, anthrax, and staphylococci bacteria. ANd we have transmitters that control people's minds and make them murder, rape, and rob banks.

And a few other things we're not going to tell you about.

>>>>As opposed to the hundreds of new ideas they tried out that DID work.
Engingeers have thousands of new ideas they tried out that DID work.
Democrats, I can't think of any.
The Republicans had the idea to leave the good ideas to Engineers.

>>>> Conservatives have won every Dirtiness Contest.
The naacp add was the dirtiest ad I've ever seen. The vilification of Ms. Harris. The obscene civil rights commission report.

But Conservatives have won the most slapstick contest in the history of the world. The legal three stooges team of gore and loserman was the greatest comedy I've ever witnessed.

You are quite wrong. The term "right wing" originated during the French Revolution, because the Montagnards took seats to the right of the legislative chamber, and the Jacobins took seats to the left. The Right represented those who preferred the English model of a democratization, keeping the King as the Head of State, but reserving most powers to the parliament, with the Prime Minister as head of government. The Left were the guillotine lovers, who insisted on rooting out disloyalty to the Republic and trying to despoil the clergy, and caused general bloodshed and chaos in society, preparing the way for Bonapartism.

Anyway, the way the terms have been used, "reactionary" refers to those who are against all change, and want an anachronistic restoration. "Conservative" has referred to those who are relatively reformist, but loathe to force the pace of social change, so as not to produce unnecessary turmoil, and who believe there is an heritage that one must carefully preserve. "Liberal" has referred to those who want to force social reform through the strong arm of government, and who are not terribly sensitive to the issue of heritage. "Revolutionary" has referred to those who would upend society to try to perfect it, and who disdain learning from the past, or respecting what has been passed down.......

Compared to Conservatives, the worst liberals have ever done the least bit dirty is run up a few deficits or try out a few new ideas that didn't work.

A few deficits!! Good grief they have sold out our future and they are set to expand on it again.

I believe that conservatives also invented the aids virus and several other devious things that you forgot.

The fact that whoever wrote the post had the effrontery to call Bolsheviks "conservative" shows how dubious all of the observations of the post are. One of the fathers of modern conservatism was Edmund Burke, who opposed the slave trade and supported the American Revolution. His opposition to the course of the French Revolution made him one of the primary figures of European conservatism, as opposed to reaction. Similarly, Dr. Samuel Johnson, a notable conservative, supported the American Revolution and held slavery as an abomination.

Lincoln considered himself a conservative, upholding the Union and its principles, and denouncing John Brown for taking the law into his own hands. Bismarck, the great conservative chancellor of Prussia and a united Germany, was the first to institute social security legislation and other programs to help the working class. Disraeli, the greatest Tory prime minister of the 19th century, sponsored the enlargement of the franchise to include those without property qualifications.....Well, anyway, it is rather disappointing that you should pass on such a load of crap......

It would be nice to believe that an educated man wouldn't have copied this pile of pooie-do-do....but then again maybe educated was the incorrect word...

This is really uncalled for, Coltongang. You know very well present day conservatives ARE NOT responsible for all that stuff. Or maybe you think we should pay reparations for slavery, for settling the west, for discovering America, for the sack of Troy, for the extinction of the mammoth, for the demise of the Neanderthal species.

Wouldn't the bean counters and lawyers have a field day? You must be kidding.
