What are those poor execs going to do now for fun ?

That could be why LU stock was such a lousy performer in the last couple of years--the executives were having too fun.<g>

Twick,

I agree with your statement about SI elders deserting this sinking ship. I am a long-time mostly silent lurker who is very grateful for the info you folks post and share. I only wish I had the time and talent to make a contribution. But, you guys have helped me make a few thousand now and then and mostly got me out of the market last year. Market Direction is a great thread. I am grateful for it.

The paucity of messages, the number of folks who are languishing in their posts or who have given up on SI, or have gone elsewhere, disturbs me.

Additionally, too many message boards lately seem to be populated by malicious trolls, plus deaf-eared site managers. Is this the summer silly season when too many high school and college kids have nothing better to do than post inappropriate messages, or is what I am seeing a product of bear market frustration and malaise?

What can SI do to get back some of the better minds? Or, is this the way a bear market portrays itself?

Thanks
