State ownership is another way of saying employee owned and run.

No it is not another way of saying that. The two things are entirely different.

In fact the ultimate goal of communism was something you might applaud: the elimination of gov't as we know it.

The elimination of government is not a viable idea. Also another ultimate goal of communism is the elimination of property rights (or using the definition of rights I would usually use, the elimination of recognition of property rights)

Ted ..Tim and Harry, <<<<

Ted, are you lumping me and Tim together. I am not sure, but I think one of us should be offended.

I am not sure there is a pure socialistic model where capitalism is excluded in totality.

Then they aren't pure socialistic models.

State ownership is another way of saying employee owned and run.

Totally wrong. Employee ownership includes the employees voluntarily buying shares from the shareholders and becoming owners through stock ownership. Communism involves the government using its powers of confiscation to take your assets from you and claim they are doing it for the public good. What is the connection?

In fact the ultimate goal of communism was something you might applaud: the elimination of gov't as we know it. <<<

Good one. Almost got me there. Change that to elimination of dems. and you got a deal. We need rep. to eliminate the anarchy which would follow the elimination of both.
