bilow to answer the 4 possibilities
1. they should ask samsung. sammy manages nicely.
2.no, they would rather make sdram and lose money on every sale.
3.only 12% of dram market to date.
4.or sell that line when mu goes chapter 11.
carl , if you can't make a profit , you can't produce it. you will go broke. honest.

bilow, micron took the cash. i'll bet dollars to donuts they spent the bare MINIMUM per contract obligation on rdram development.

micron thinks efficiency and doesn't have any desire to make bloated pig ram - bpram.
