Strange, with the druming XAU and HUI took today FSAGX is up 7 cents. That's my major holding and it has been acting wierd lately. As Alfred E said, " What, me worry".

Sorry, but THAT is the last thing ABX worries about or anyone else in the mining biz, threader Russ. Cheaper to buy proven reserves off the board than it is to go find them yerselfen, and ABX is in the catbird seat along with a few other biggies to pick and chose how many reserves for how few bucks.

With lease rates plunging and POG very weak despite a modest drop in the dollar, looks like a lot of supply is hitting the market. Rumors of Lebanese gold sales and lending abound. GATA opines that IMF gold might be hitting the market via the lending route.
