To me. it's like a circle. Start at a point on the edge of the circle and call it the center. If someone goes one step to the Right and another person takes one step to the Left, both are still pretty close together. Now if one person keeps traveling to the Left and the other keeps traveling to the Right, about 1/4 of the way around the circle they will be at their most opposites. Wat is interesting is that as they keep moving in opposite directions, they become the same again at the "back" of the circle. The Thread zealots though, will tell you this...
