"That sort of thing" doesn't much interest me either, but I must say that this particular mystery is a pretty good story. Gone without a trace. A congressman saying and doing all the wrong things. And observing the cultural phenomenon is interesting, too, but increasingly less so. Sooner or later we have to start dealing with real news.
