X-JOE-O: I forgot to include that the article is from an editorial of a newspaper that I subscribe to. I was really surprised when I saw it in the editorial section instead of the business section of the paper. Well, just like any editorial, it expressed the views of the editor and nothing more. For serious students of statistics, the logical step is to get hold of a copy of the academic studies made by the authors when they are published or posted on the Net. I'd like to see them, although I only had Statistics 101 before the pocket calculator was even invented. (Yep, that's how old I am.) :^) How you doin'?
