I found another free site for sharing photos on the web:

cartogra.com

This one is run by HP, so I imagine you'll get e-mails from them trying to sell you stuff if you sign up. Still --- it's free, so that's a plus.

Palm use OT

Aus, I WAS going to buy the m505 for my birthday, and I sold my VII in anticipation, but then the VIIx price crashed and I got a new one for basically what I sold my VII for (I was looking forward to color, but it was the 8MB I was really after). So Palm (and SanDisk) didn't get my money after all.

On another note, with my Palm VII I started off with the whole-hog plan ($40/mo), then after 3-4 months I ratcheted down to the $10 plan (which with overage has run about $20 on average anyway). Still working to pare my spending, I've worked out a $5/mo data access plan through Sprint (for 2 phones!) that will provide me with web access for those few times I need it (thanks Rarebird!).

Webclipping is MUCH cleaner, but it's not worth the extra $0.50/day.

Andre

Ausdauer, re: "Doesn't anybody on this thread own/use a Palm M500 or M505?"

One of my clients recently bought a Palm 505C and returned it a week later to get an iPac. Apparently, iPacs run Windows CE and Palms don't. Regardless, my client is happier with his second choice.
