I know Downsouth had a good inkling that this would be a gorilla market. It looks to me like if NTAP can pull this off it will be sitting pretty. But does all this a gorilla make?

I don't think this makes NTAP a gorilla, however, it probably expands NAS's addressable market. DAFS is open and not controlled by Network Appliance. It would appear to me that this doesn't make NTAP a gorilla, then again TCP/IP is open and Cisco become a gorilla in the router space. Still from the looks of it, anyone can make NAS devices that support DAFS.
