The "meat" of the interview (the $389,000,000 settlement) starts at 3 min. 28 sec. into the interview, so you might want to fast forward to that, although the first part in describing the different divisions and their 10 years in business is worthwhile listening. 1. 5 yrs. ago Select Capital offered to arrange for a $13 mil. long term note at 6% and place $1 mil. in convertible debentures. At this point, USXP was trading at $1.70 with 5.6 mil. shares outstanding. 2. Placed the debentures, then shorted the stock to the tune of millions of shares a day for over 90 days. Select Capital came to USXP and wanted shares at .02, or force them out of business, this is when USXP filed the lawsuit. 3. Ceo Altomare says the head lawyer Tifford believes significant assets exist in Europe and "there are some insurance companies involved, as well". (THIS IS DIRECT QUOTE) 4. Corporate tax advisors believe a tax carryforward on this $389,000,000 for an acquiring corporation "might be able depending on certain criteria". (DON'T YOU KNOW THE TOP TAX ATTORNEYS WILL FIND THAT LOOPHOLE WHERE THE CRITERIA IS MET.) 5. Ceo Altomare says with 70 million shares outstanding and $389,000,000 the stock is worth between $6 and $8 per share, and that is not taking into consideration 10 years of good will writeoffs. 6. USXP has been PROFITABLE the last 2 quarters to the tune of .03 per share and last quarter, .02 per share. 7. Have very low burn rate 8. Ceo Altomare says his greatest regret is what happened to many shareholders 4 years ago and hopes to pay DIVIDENDS from what is collected. Altomare says, "I hope and pray some are still with us and be able to give dividends to try and make up for the damage done by these crooks." (Can you believe it, a CEO that actually cares!!!!) 9. Still believes a major short position is on stock NOW YOU KNOW WHY SOME OF THE BEST BASHERS IN THE BUSINESS HAVE SHOWN UP ON THIS BOARD. THE STAKES ARE VERY HIGH FOR THE SHORTS. THIS THING, IMO, COULD SEE $1 SOON. EVERY GAME IN THE BOOK IS GOING TO BE PLAYED BY THE MM'S AND SHORTERS.
