Windsock - Re: "AMD has averaged about 800 K units a month for the only product shipped from a $2 Billion fab. That is an accomplishment."

Good point !

In a year from now, AMD will make only $750,000,000 on the next 10 million units they ship - for maybe no profit !!!

How they gonna pay off those good citizens of the German Saxony state - to whom they are VERY INDEBTED ?

AMD has averaged about 800 K units a month for the only product shipped from a $2 Billion fab. That is an accomplishment. But I don't think that any other semiconductor company would allow this failure to become public, let alone brag about it.

I see I'm not the only one who can run the numbers and read between the lines.
