1st cut
enhancements that are nice to have
rather than needs to have ...
will be cut

2nd cut
overall salary increases will
be curtailed ..
cpi + 0

we spend a great deal on system integration
which i would put as a second to security, as
the cost is often recouped through the gain
in production ..

within the sw budget, there are nice
to haves and needs to have -

the nice toos for the majority
are purely bells and whistles -

or are present for
asthetic reasons ..

and are not viewed as
essential to overall
performance ..

in evaluating security, this has
come out on top, as any, degradation
here would be costly.

the nature of the business dictates
the importance of security as well,
system integration through the
procurement of various api's..

we are in the process of building a new
facilty which will focus its support on
fiber, micro, frame and 800mhz

whereas, are current facility is based on
a combination of old and new tech,
vhf, 800mhz, analog, frame, isdn,
and microwave >
