Whatever a cb was ready to lease in the way of gold, they can sell. With the global slowdown gaining momentum, it would appear that the oversupply of gold is increasing. The fundamentals for a rise in the pog seems to be in reverse, we may see a return to the previous lows.
One of the best contrarian indicators for a fall in the pog is the Gata spears in the air proclamation.

Ken

Have you ever, a single day in your life since you left the OPM fund managment biz thought about coordinating the PREDICTABLE OTC-opts expiry for bullion on the LME with your prodigious and persistent monitoring of lease rates you tattoo upon this thread?

OF COURSE LEASE RATES ARE DOWN THIS AM...yesterday was said expiry!!!!

Today, a new chapter in the ole' lease game began overseas and of then rotates to stateside a few hours after London Tee's off.. Of course, it IS a little tougher for some to get their hands on said OTC LME expiry info than others, I will give you that...

But, you might, just might try plugging in that info into your lease rates up/down entrails examine you are so wont to do for early clues as to the direction in POG du jour, ESPECIALLY at month end...
Carry-on, George.
