I never said anything about ensoulment, in fact, I have specifically disavowed such speculation.... There is no particular reason to find the idea of creation incompatible with omnipotence. Taking a human analogy, people do not merely act out of want, but out of fullness, too. It is as if God were so full of high spirits that He is moved to whistle a tune, and that tune is the cosmos. Anyway, that is not making something out of whole cloth, but the a fairly traditional understanding, coupled with much reflection, trying to reconcile the concepts involved.......

That's just a silly statement. Sarcasm, which often has it's genesis in irony, IS the expression of thought. I don't see you how could possibly have sarcasm without thought, so while Sarcasm might not be thought, it has thought in it- it is actually a super set including thought. Unless we are talking about a sarcastic tone, and even that requires thought. It may be connected to thoughts we disagree with, but still, thought seems integral. When we think ironically and develop language along those lines, especially witty language to ridicule a given position or person the language of sarcasm is representing our thoughts. So when some asks you "When were you persuaded that sarcasm was equivalent to thought?", say "Why in my infancy I realized that sarcasm per se included thought, because I am a quick study, but someday you too may learn." What do you think? Peace Love GO and be sarcastic
