Limmer, I said "by 2002-03", which is 1-2 years from now
if 1994 is repeated, then the recovery will be primarily in asset prices
read: stock issue prices

in 1994 GrinchSheiss raised rates from 3.0% to 7.0% to stop hypergrowth from happening in a pre-emptive move
the economy had done nothing, but was ready to recover
in 1995 it did begin the historic recover and run to Y2K

I expect growth to start with stocks, and might pick up with a stunning telecom rebound

THE FUNDAMENTAL DEMAND BEHIND TELECOM IS INTACT:
internet usage, emails, broadband applns, cellphone, wireless messaging, nimrods posting on SI, spreading of 2.5G wireless, eventual arrival of 3G

I fully expect a stunning telecom stock rebound
but only after a few losers are knocked out
their combined debt is staggering
