so if you want to arb the incorrect info of a p/e 170
to a p/e of 70 GOOD LUCK!
how about an historical p/e average about 18?

If most of the investors are making their decisions based on incorrect data, it would seem to offer a wonderful arbitrage opportunity for informed investors.

In my opinion, Yahoo research more often overstate's a company's performance rather than understates a company's performance. Look at QCOM's last quarter for example---Yahoo reports 22 cents per share earnings with no mention these are pro forma earnings. The Wall Street Journal, on the other hand, leads their QCOM story with the information that QCOM lost 36 cents per share.
