Yes, I do. But the media would need to support it. And right now I feel they are doing the opposite. As a parent one can work against that if one has media savvy kids who don't want to be herd animals. I have a daughter who wants to be the opposite of what everyone else wants her to be. SO when we go to the movies I tell her that the movies want her to be a slutty bimbo and I hope she will do the opposite. So far so good. Although I don't want her to be too uptight. So as a parent I feel I am walking a fine line using the stupid and uncool "tools" in the tool kit.
