"Decency" is one of those problematic words. It's broad and it has lots of baggage. Why do we need to use the word at all? If the standard is that the sex partners be caring and concerned about each other, why clutter things up with decency, which may subsume caring but also covers irrelevant prohibitions like going out in public in a see-through blouse or bad-mounting someone at his funeral? Let's just use a word with a specific meaning.

If what you're saying is that sex is preferably confined to adult couples who care about each other's interests, I can buy that. It doesn't really matter what decency means.
